As you know, for weekly garbage clearance, your rubbish removalists service handle wastes out of your apartment lot or office building. So, are you there and have always bothered yourself with loads and loads of questions about bin placement, no more worries! Send in your bin queries and we will make sure we help you out with a reliable response. However, in the meantime, we are here to help you with a few responsible bin placement instructions you may benefit from. Below are the dos and don’ts of Bin placement that can solve your possible problems:

Dispose of bins in a responsible manner

As for rubbish disposal, think of this as a responsible gesture in helping create a  green, clean and healthy ecosystem. The last thing anyone wants to see is littering in the streets. Unlawful practise of dumping or littering can end up in heavy penalties according to the law.

Give the Delivery Truck Free Access

The truck should be able to move to your chosen location and return without problems.
Ensure that all roads or roads required by the machine meet all the requirements for width and carrying capacity. These requirements may vary from company to company. Additionally, check with your skip bin company before requesting that technicians lift your bin over a fence or place the bin in your backyard.

When should you put bins out?

Bins are scheduled to be collected on other community holidays except if otherwise stated by the environmental cleanliness managers or councils of your locality.

Do bins get collected on public holidays?

In spite of this, normally Bins are cleared as routine on the entire civic holidays, except Christmas Day, New living Day and Good Friday. An unconventional otherwise chosen day will be advertised in the weeks earlier to these days.

Being mindful of what goes in your bin

You may perhaps put your bins out weekly; general household waste should go in dark green or black wheelie bin with a red lid. You can even place small amounts of green waste in your green-lid wheelie bin - this actually helps with rubbish disposal.
Mixed waste such as recycling (glass, plastic, metal and paper combined) can go either in a dark green or black wheelie bin with a yellow lid.
Food waste should go in a rubbish bin with a burgundy lid on it whereas paper and cardboard recycling should be placed in a blue lid garbage bin.

In conclusion, Bin placement is an important issue that should be discussed on a National level because waste not properly managed lead to an unsustainable and dirty environment. The responsibility of bin placement does not solely lie on the waste or environmental managers or the city council but also on the members of any community.

This is why so far, we have tried to give some practicable laws (dos and don’ts) on the intricacies of Bin Placement.

I definitely agree that when we are looking to rent a skip bin, it is advisable that we are mindful of what goes in as that way, we will be more encouraged to practice proper waste management and disposal. The other day my wife said she is looking to deep clean our home this coming weekend. I think it would benefit us to have a skip bin rented, so I will definitely make some calls to determine the best company for us to rent from.

It's good to know that improper dumping or littering can get you penalized. My parents want us to rent a skip bin to ensure we are properly collecting our waste. I should advise them to go for it so we can comply with the law of proper waste disposal.

Thanks for helping me understand that the bins should be placed in an area where the truck can access without issues and would be on a road with enough load and width capacity. I will keep that in mind because I plan to look for skip bin hire services this month. The debris from the renovation of one area of my home would definitely need a container to hold them to keep us from making a mess in the neighborhood.

When it comes to hiring a skip bin, the most important thing is what goes in. This way we can assure ourselves that our waste management practices will not backslide and have an excess of unwanted items filling up your home or office space.
